In Mexico alone, you can select from a variety of ways to say “I love you,” the most common being in Spanish where you can choose between saying “te amo” and “te quiero” with the latter’s literal translation being “I want you!” Mexico is also home to a number of different native languages such as Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, Mayan and Tarahumara, which all have their own version of “I love you”:
